Augustina Naa Shorme Noi Ayivor

Principal, College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso

Augustina Naa Shorme Noi Ayivor is the Principal of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso, and an accomplished nurse educator, academic leader, and administrator with extensive experience in nursing education, institutional leadership, and professional development. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing at the University of Cape Coast, demonstrating her commitment to advancing nursing education, research, and healthcare practice.

She holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing from the University of Ghana. She also earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Cape Coast. Her professional nursing foundation began at the prestigious Korle Bu Nurses' Training College, where she obtained the State Registered Nurse (SRN) qualification.

Prior to her appointment as Principal, Mrs. Ayivor built a distinguished academic career as a nursing educator, teaching core nursing courses including Anatomy and Physiology, Statistics, Practical Nursing, Patient Care Studies, and the Nursing Process. Her expertise spans curriculum delivery, academic administration, quality assurance, mentorship, and institutional management.

As an educational leader, she is passionate about producing highly competent, ethical, and practice-ready nursing professionals through excellence in teaching, effective mentorship, innovation, and evidence-based leadership. She is committed to strengthening nursing education by promoting academic excellence, professional integrity, research, and continuous quality improvement.

Her research interests include qualitative research, nursing education, breast cancer, psychosocial aspects of health, and the lived experiences of individuals and families affected by illness. Through her scholarly work and leadership, she continues to contribute to the advancement of nursing education and healthcare delivery in Ghana.

Quality Assurance Officer

Robert Bayifar Atubila is a dedicated nursing professional and educator with extensive academic training and experience in nursing education and quality assurance. He holds a Diploma in Registered General Nursing, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing (Paediatric), and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nursing.

With a strong commitment to excellence in nursing education and professional practice, Robert Bayifar is passionate about maintaining and improving quality standards within the academic and clinical learning environment. In the role of Quality Assurance, he contributes to the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality standards and processes to ensure continuous improvement in teaching, learning, assessment, and institutional practices.

His professional interests include quality improvement in nursing education, curriculum implementation, clinical education, student assessment, patient safety, and the promotion of evidence-based nursing practice. Through dedication, professionalism, and continuous improvement, Robert Bayifar strives to support the delivery of high-quality nursing education and the preparation of competent, compassionate, and ethical nursing professionals.

Acting Vice Principal & Academic Officer | Principal Health Tutor

College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso

Ebenezer Nana Yaw Obimpeh-Nipamua serves as Acting Vice Principal and Academic Officer, and Principal Health Tutor at the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ntotroso, under the HTI Unit of Ghana's Ministry of Health. He brings over a decade of clinical, educational, and administrative experience spanning nursing practice, health training, and institutional leadership.

Education

He holds a Master of Science in Bioethics from the University of Ghana (2025), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba (2019), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Garden City University College (2015), and a Diploma in Registered General Nursing from Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College (2011). He also holds a Certificate in Health Administration and Management from GIMPA (2017).

He is currently completing an MPhil in Education Studies at Presbyterian University College, Ghana, with research focused on cancers, HIV, and the ethical integration of digital health technologies in low- and middle-income health systems and nursing education

Professional Development

He has completed certificate training through the University of Washington in Leadership and Management in Health (2018), Global Health Research (2019), Health Policy and Advocacy (2020), Monitoring and Evaluation (2020), and Implementation Science (2021). Additional certifications include Good Clinical Practice (2021), Occupational Health and Safety (2022), Ethics Training (2022), and Cybersecurity/GRC IT Auditing and Data Analysis (both 2024).

Research and Advocacy

He is the founder of DHEAL Hub (Digital Health Ethics and AI Literacy Hub), a capacity-building and advisory platform supporting nurses, midwives, and health training institutions across Ghana and other low- and middle-income countries in the ethical governance of digital health and AI technologies. His work sits at the intersection of clinical nursing, bioethics, nursing education, and digital health equity.

He has presented at international forums including the IARC/WHO Summer School on Cancer Prevention and Detection (Lyon, France, 2019) and the GREN Conference (2022), where he presented an ethical analysis of factors contributing to HIV treatment default in Ghana.
